I enjoyed the September Petit Vour Beauty Box. I was happy to receive a few products that I’ve wanted to try/heard good things about.
The September Box included:
Osea Ocean Cleanser- RV $16, (full size $44)
Meow Meow Tweet Baking Soda Free Deodorant Cream- RV $14
Adorn Mineral & Organic Hydrating Cream Foundation- RV $4, (full size $50)
Odacité Serum Concentrate- RV $3, (full size $32-42)
The Osea Ocean Cleanser is made with so many awesome ingredients and has a very nice scent. It is quite good at making your skin look and feel clean without drying out your skin. I really like how my face feels after using this product! This cleanser is a gel formula, so it doesn’t lather. I would not recommend using this with a facial sponge.
I’ve been wanting to try a Meow Meow Tweet Deodorant for a while, but it’s often sold out. In my Beauty Box I received the Lavender scent. I really like how creamy this deodorant is compared to the paste-like quality of other natural deodorants I’ve used. As I’ve found with other lavender scented natural deodorants, the scent is rather strong and I’m not a fan of wearing this with sleeveless shirts. This product does work very well for me. I love that I don’t smell super gross after using this! It makes me happy. I may try this in a different scent when I run out.
I received the Adorn Mineral & Organic Hydrating Cream Foundation in ‘Light-Medium’. It has a lovely creamy formula and feels light on the skin. I tested this on my face and found it to be too dark for my skin tone. I have more of a fair colouring with yellow undertones. The product card in the Beauty Box also recommended using this foundation as an eyeshadow base/primer which I have been doing. As a primer, it works quite well and my eyeshadow stays in place all day.
Swatches of the foundation in daylight and warm indoor light:
I really like the Odacité Serum Concentrate. I received the Bl+C Pimple serum. It has a nice herby/earthy scent and absorbs rather quickly. It really helped to clear up a bad blackhead breakout I was having. It’s great how fast acting this product is!
The Petit Vour Beauty Box is a vegan, non-toxic, cruelty free monthly subscription box. It costs $15 per month and contains four luxury beauty products per month. The products are mostly deluxe sample sizes. Petit Vour stocks the full sizes of the products included in the boxes on their website and they offer a really nice reward program for buying through the site.
