I highly enjoyed the October Vegan Cuts Beauty Box. The products chosen for this box complement each other so well that I was able to use all of them in one day, which is not something that always happens with beauty boxes. The Vegan Cuts Beauty Box costs $22.95 per month and contains 4-7 deluxe sized samples and full sized products with this specific box being valued at over $78!
Palmetto Derma Rejuvenating Antioxidant Mask– RV $64. This mask it to die for! I slathered it on my face before even looking at the price of the product. Once I saw how much it costs, I died a bit inside because I need to have this mask in my life. It has a wonderful earthy scent and feels so light and creamy on your skin. I did experience some tingling, which the package states will happen, but it was not uncomfortable or painful. After rinsing, my face looked amazing! I highly recommend this mask to everyone.
The All Natural Face Frosted Berries Lip Gloss– RV $4.60. This product is yet another rosy/mauve-y shade to add to my growing collection of lip products that are mostly rosy/mauve-y shades. This is such a great colour for my skin tone and I have found myself wearing it quite often since receiving this beauty box. Since it’s a gloss, the formula is a bit wet and doesn’t dry, so I need to reapply often. I love that this doesn’t dry out my lips and provides a great, sheer colour.
Swatches of Frosted Berries in daylight and warm indoor light:
Revive Bath & Body Vanilla + Lavender Cold Process Soap Bar– RV $2.50. I am not a bar soap user, but this product is very enjoyable. I adore anything vanilla and/or lavender scented and this soap did not let me down in the scent department. It lathers beautifully and made my skin feel so clean. I might be purchasing more soap from this company in the future.
Juice Beauty Green Apple Body Moisturizer– RV $5. Now that the weather is getting drier, I need to moisturize my skin or it starts flaking off. I liked this moisturizer a lot. It’s a bit thicker than the lotions I usually buy, but it absorbs quickly. It has a nice, vaguely fruity scent that clings to your skin even after the product is absorbed. This made my skin feel so soft and smooth, and for only $18 for the full size tube, this product might be added to my winter skincare routine.
Eden Bodyworks Peppermint Tea Tree Shampoo– RV $2.59. This shampoo got my hair so clean! I used it after I had not washed my hair in a few days and it was full of hairspray and dry shampoo and this product got all that product out without having to use an obscene amount of shampoo. The peppermint scent is very strong when using, but does not seem to stay in my hair after rinsing.
