I liked November’s Vegan Cuts Beauty Box. I thought the products chosen were well suited for the change in weather and the coming of the dry, dark, winter season. The Vegan Cuts Beauty Box costs $22.95 per month and contains 4-7 deluxe sized samples and full sized products with this specific box being valued at over $50.
I highly enjoyed the October Vegan Cuts Beauty Box. The products chosen for this box complement each other so well that I was able to use all of them in one day, which is not something that always happens with beauty boxes. The Vegan Cuts Beauty Box costs $22.95 per month and contains 4-7 deluxe sized samples and full sized products with this specific box being valued at over $78!
I really enjoyed the September Benevolent Beauty Box. I loved that this box included so many different types of items and all of them are great.

Bellapierre Shimmer Powder in ‘Earth’- RV $15
Bellapierre Eyeliner Duo- RV $25
Ecco Bella FlowerColor Lipstick in ‘Primrose’- RV $19.95 (Vegan)
gypsy SOUL organics ‘Sister Wind’- RV $19.99 (Vegan)
St. Tropica Hot Oil Hair Mask- RV $4.50 (Vegan)
Tat2u Makeup Tat2Lash Mascara- RV $16
I was able to finish up five products last month and have so many that are almost done. I’m happy that I was finally able to empty some of these products.
Box Naturals Luxe Towelettes (RV $1.50 for sample size, $9 for full size): I received this product in my August Petit Vour Beauty Box. These wipes smelled lovely. Since I don’t really use wipes, I will not be repurchasing.
Smith’s Rosebud Salve (RV $6): I really enjoyed this product. I used it mostly as a lip balm, but I also used it on my ankles, elbows and hands when they were feeling particularly dry. This product is a bit greasy. As much as I liked it as a lip balm, I don’t know if I’m going to buy it again because of the packaging. I feel like tins can get too germy.
Blistex Deep Renewal Lip Balm (RV $3.49): This is a pretty nice lip balm. It really seemed to moisturize my lips well. It doesn’t have much of a flavour and is slightly greasy in texture. I will not be repurchasing.
Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray (RV $5.99): I buy so many products that promise to make my hair do anything, but nothing ever works. This spray smells a bit salty and does give my hair some texture, but I don’t get pretty mermaid waves from using this whether I let it air-dry, curl or scrunch my hair. I won’t be purchasing this again because it didn’t really help me style my hair at all.
E.l.f. Expert Eyeliner in ‘Jet Black’ (RV $2): I purchased this product to learn how to use liquid liner so that I could mess up without spending a ton of money and was pleasantly surprised at how great this liner was. The brush is nice and pointy and gives a very precise line. The product lasts all day unless you get it super wet. I will definitely buy this again when I use up the other liquid liners I have.
Until next time,
It was really nice to receive mostly non-makeup items in the box this month. I’m getting slightly overwhelmed by the amount of awesome makeup products I’ve been getting! I also really adore skin/hair care items.
This month’s box included:
Luxie Beauty Blending Brush #227- RV $16
William Roam Sense Shampoo and Conditioner- RV $14
Page Ashbury Facial Moisturizer- RV $7.50
SK Pure Essentials Jasmine Citrus Body Scrub- RV $4.50
Melanie Mills Hollwood Gleam Lip Radiance in ‘Unstoppable’- RV $24
I didn’t quite finish up a few of the products that I was trying to get through last month, but I was able to purge a significant number of things. I’m trying to declutter a bit and I keep finding so many 10+ year old products!
We’re already close to two weeks into August and I have yet to post my July empties or reviews of any of my July beauty boxes! It’s been so hot and humid in most of our house that it’s impossible to sit in the office for more than two minutes to type anything up. I’m really hoping Fall comes early this year.
I used up a decent amount of products last month. Most items were products I use regularly. I’m trying to use more of the sample sized products I have around the house, so hopefully I’ll have a lot to write about for August.
